ANKARA, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- A car bombing and gunfire attacks hit the police headquarter in eastern Turkish province of Van late Wednesday, Dogan News Agency reported.
The police HQ was attacked by car bombing at around 23:00 local time (2000 GMT) on Wednesday.
Locals in the city center heard gunfire after bombing. Many ambulances and reinforcement of security forces have been sent to the scene.
