BEIJING, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- China's anti-graft authority called for stricter Party discipline following the release on Friday of the findings of the most recent inspections of 27 state and Party organs.
The 10th round of anti-corruption inspections, which began in late June, examined Party organizations of 32 state and Party organs, including the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the top political advisory body.
According to the statement of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the Communist Party of China, despite progress made in building a clean Party, some organs still had frugality rule violations, such as granting unauthorized subsidies, traveling on public funds, using public cars for personal purposes, and extravagance and waste in daily affairs.
The inspections also uncovered lingering problems in some organs, including the weakening of Party leadership, weak punishment for discipline violations, and an absence of Party building.
The CCDI urged these organs to strengthen efforts in strict governing of the Party.
