BEIJING, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- A 4.8-magnitude earthquake hits Yarkant County of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region at 5:54 p.m. Friday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was located at 38.20 degrees north latitude and 76.73degrees east longitude, with a depth of seven kilometers, the CENC said.
