WARSAW, April 7 (Xinhua) -- Around 18 people were injured, including three in serious condition, in a collision of "Pendolino" fast-train with a truck near Ozimek, southwest Poland, on Friday.
Previous reports put the number of the injured at nine.
The collision took place on an unguarded rail crossing, due to so far unknown reasons.
The Warsaw-Wroclaw fast train collided with the truck, and the truck driver was unhurt, according to the State Fire Service. About 16 fire units, four ambulances and two rescue helicopters were sent to the site.
Most of the 300 passengers aboard the train found shelter in a nearby restaurant. The train rail would be impassable for many hours.
