A completion ceremony of the reconstruction of Pha That Luang was held Monday in Vientiane. Pha That Luang was undergoing reconstruction work as part of preparations for the upcoming That Luang festival. The restoration involves work to improve the main structure, paintwork, surrounding garden, drainage channels, electrical system and other features, notably the gold leaf to be placed on the top of the stupa.
