MOSCOW, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed a decree giving priority to Russian goods and services over foreign ones in government procurement starting next year, according to the Russian government website on Friday.
"Set a priority for goods of Russian origin, work and services carried out or rendered by Russian individuals, in carrying out the procurement of goods, work and services over goods originating from a foreign country," said a document published on the website.
According to the document, the decree will come into force on Jan. 1, 2017. Its aim is to stimulate various sectors of the Russian economy.
