YANGON, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- Six Bangladeshi fishermen serving jail terms for illegal fishing in Myanmar's territorial waters have been granted presidential pardon and will be expelled from the country, Myanmar News Agency quoted the President's Office as saying Friday.
The six Bangladeshi fishermen from Teknaf were arrested on Nov. 9 last year when they were catching fish in Myanmar's territorial waters.
They are to be expelled by the Myanmar Immigration and Population Department after further procedures, the report added.
