DAVOS, Switzerland, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday stressed the importance of pursuing new models of global growth, cooperation, governance and development.

Xi made the remarks in a keynote speech at the opening session of the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.
