HANOI, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- Sandra, the most successful German disco/pop woman vocalist, and German pop group Bad Boys Blue will perform at a live show here on March 11.
Sandra, born in 1962, will fly to the Vietnamese capital city of Hanoi on March 5 to prepare for singing some 20 songs at the live show along with Bad Boys Blue, the show's organizers said on Monday.
Sandra Ann Lauer, commonly known under her stage name Sandra, enjoyed a mainstream popularity in the 1980s and early 1990s with a string of European hit singles, produced by her then-husband and musical partner, Michael Cretu. She used to the lead singer of an all-female disco trio Arabesque.
With sales of more than 30 million records worldwide, Sandra has set up her position as the most successful German disco/pop female vocalist.
Bad Boys Blue, formed in Germany, has performed many international hits, including "You're a Women", "Pretty Young Girl", "I Wanna Hear Your Heartbeat", and "Come Back and Stay".
