NAIROBI, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) -- Roads built by Chinese firms nowadays are sprawling across Africa, reforming the transport in African cities and greatly improving the flow of traffic.

These roads, including those already built and others still under construction over the years, have totaled more than 5,200 km in length, according to data from the Chinese government.

The roads, as some African leaders say, have become the modern symbols of China-Africa friendship.

Following is a list of some road projects undertaken by Chinese firms in Africa in recent years.
