KIEV, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine plans to establish a joint inter-parliamentary body with Georgia and Moldova, the country's parliament speaker Andriy Parubiy announced here Tuesday.
"I hope that we will manage to create the Ukraine-Georgia-Moldova inter-parliamentary assembly and I hope it would happen this spring," Parubiy told reporters during a media briefing.
The establishment of the three-nation assembly would boost the inter-parliamentary exchanges among the countries and contribute to the development of their ties, Parubiy said.
He said that during its first meeting, the assembly will focus on the possible creation of a joint military brigade among the three countries.
