PRAGUE, April 9 (Xinhua) -- A small plane crashed and caught on fire near Kundratice in South Bohemia, Czech Republic on Monday afternoon, killing two people, said a regional firefighter spokesperson.
The accident occurred around 3:00 p.m. local time and the two victims died on impact. The fire has since been extinguished.
According to police spokesman Milan Bajcury, the victims' identities have not yet been determined, and it is as yet unclear where the plane was departing from and heading to.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
