PARIS, April 10 (Xinhua) -- Monaco will in June host an international gathering to discuss ways to speed up the energy transition as part of COP21 commitments, organizers said on Tuesday.
More than 500 international leaders, clean technology players, investors, business leaders, innovators, academic experts and members of civil society will take part in Transition Monaco Forum on June 26-27, they added in a statement.
Under the patronage of Prince Albert II, the two-day forum "aims to create a European hub of specialized investors on the ecology and energy transition and to mobilize the main stakeholders in all sectors."
Participants will also seek for concrete solutions to accelerate implementation of business models' new and clean approaches.
The meeting's debates will focus on finance, regulation, innovation and new players.
