LUSAKA, May 3 (Xinhua) -- The technical team of the Zambia Under-20 national soccer team has released the names of the final 20-member squad that will face Rwanda in their Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Assistant coach Charles Bwale has included England-based striker Mwiya Malumo who plays for Wigan Athletic's Under-18s, as well as Lifumpa Mwandwe of Shrewsbury Town.
He told reporters during a press briefing that the two players were expected to be in the country to process their documentation before linking up with their teammates.
The 2017 African Under-20 champions will play two friendly matches before heading to Kigali, with a friendly against Malawi set for this weekend.
Zambia will play Rwanda on May 12 before hosting them a week later. The winner of the two-leg tie will face either Sudan or Burundi in the final qualifying round.
