YANGON, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Two people have been killed on the spot and five others injured in a car crash in eastern Myanmar's Shan state, according to a release from the Home Affairs Ministry on Friday.
The accident occurred in Kengtung (Kyaing Tong) town on Thursday morning, the release said.
With a total of eight people aboard including a driver, a six-wheeled car lost control and overturned near Mai Zinn (upper) village at 08:40 a.m. local time.
Reckless driving was blamed for the accident.
