SKOPJE, May 12 (Xinhua) -- The number of tourists in Macedonia grew by 17.3 percent in the first three months of 2018 compared to the same period in 2017, Macedonian State Statistical Office (SSO) said on Saturday.
The period saw a growth of 10.1 percent in the number of domestic tourists and 21.5 percent in that of foreign tourists, according to SSO data.
For the month of March, tourists shot up by 25.1 percent as compared to March 2017.
The top sources of tourists included Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece, Turkey, Kosovo and Albania.
