TEHRAN, May 18 (Xinhua) -- Iranians held rallies nationwide on Friday to condemn Israel's recent killing of Palestinian protesters in the Gaza Strip.
The demonstrators chanted anti-U.S. and anti-Israel slogans and vowed solidarity with the Palestinians and their cause.
They also protested against the U.S. relocation of its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Also, the ralliers urged the unity of Muslim world to liberate Jerusalem and to end the suffrage of Palestinians.
Israel launched deadly attacks in the Gaza Strip on Monday when Israeli forces opened fire on Palestinians who were protesting against the inauguration of the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem, killing dozens of Palestinians and injuring many others.
