TEHRAN, June 3 (Xinhua) -- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Sunday condemned recent killing of a Palestinian paramedic by Israel.
Zarif described the killing of Razan al-Najjar, the 21-year-old Palestinian medic, as a shame for the Israeli regime.
"In a week when Israeli regime airs an absurd message to Iranians while its U.S. patrons veto a resolution condemning its use of deadly force against unarmed protestors, its snipers murder a Palestinian medic tending to the wounded. Shame upon shame," the Iranian minister tweeted.
Al-Najjar, a volunteer medic, was shot dead on Friday near the Gaza fence while treating injured Gaza protesters.
