TRIPOLI, June 6 (Xinhua) -- A foreign air strike late on Tuesday killed four terror suspects on the outskirts of the Libyan city of Bani Walid, some 180 km southwest of the capital Tripoli, a security source told Xinhua.
"An unidentified foreign air strike killed four terrorists suspected of belonging to Islamic State (IS), targeting one of their headquarters in Bgila area in the valley of Kamkum on the outskirts of Bani Walid," said an official source in the joint security chamber of Bani Walid.
"The strike was carried out at 01:30 p.m. local time (2330 GMT)," the source said, adding that the air strike is likely to have been carried out by a U.S. drone aircraft, as the Libyan air force is unable to carry out a precise air strike in valleys.
