RABAT, June 14 (Xinhua) -- Morocco's state-owned phosphate company OCP announced on Thursday that it will acquire 20 percent stake of Fertinagro, Spain's largest fertilizer manufacturer.
This transaction aimed to leverage Fertinagro's technical know-how and capabilities in specialty products and ability to respond to the farmer's specific needs, OCP said in a statement.
OCP is the largest phosphate producer in the world and a leading global fertilizer player.
Fertinagro is a major Spanish fertilizer company dedicated to the production and commercialization of plant nutrition solutions.
