Sudan condemns terrorist blast in Ethiopia

KHARTOUM, June 23 (Xinhua) -- Sudan condemned the terrorist blast in the center of the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa on Saturday.

Sudan's Foreign Minister Al-Dirdiri Mohamed Ahmed made a telephone conversation with his Ethiopian counterpart Workneh Gebeyehu, said Sudan's Foreign Ministry in a statement.

The minister expressed condolences to the government, people of Ethiopia, and the families of the victims.

He reiterated that Sudan rejects all criminal acts and attack on innocent people, and expressed support for peace, security and unity of Ethiopia.

A terrorist blast on Saturday targeted a rally of Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed in Addis Ababa, leaving many people injured.
