RABAT, July 11 (Xinhua) -- Morocco and Niger signed on Wednesday in Rabat a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and coordination.
The memorandum was inked by the Moroccan Secretary of State for Sustainable Development Nezha El Ouafi and Niger's Minister of Environment, Urban Environmental Sanitation and Sustainable Development, Almoustapha Garba.
The memorandum sets up the framework of bilateral cooperation in the fields of climate change and nationally determined contributions, biodiversity as well as environmental and sustainable development education.
The two parties also agreed to implement bilateral projects, particularly as part of international cooperation initiatives.
