MOSCOW, July 11 (Xinhua) -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said here Wednesday that his country will counter any attempts to violate its air or land borders.
He made the remarks before a closed-door meeting mainly on Syria with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin, according to an official transcript.
"Cooperation between us is an essential, key factor that can stabilize the entire region," Netanyahu told Putin.
Earlier in the day, the Israeli military said it shot down a drone from Syria approaching its border.
