MOSCOW, July 16 (Xinhua) -- Russia's industrial production in the first half of 2018 increased by 3 percent year-on-year, Russia's Federal State Statistics Service Rosstat said Monday.
The industrial output in June 2018 saw a 2.2 percent growth compared to the same period last year, and fell by 0.2 percent compared to May, according to a report released by Rosstat.
Excluding seasonal and calendar factors, the industrial output in June declined by 0.6 percent on the month, the report said.
According to the latest forecast by the Russian Economic Development Ministry, Russia's industrial production is expected to rise by 2.5 percent in 2018 and by 2.1 percent in 2019.
