DHAKA, July 24 (Xinhua) -- No casualties or injuries were reported after a Thai Airways flight from Bangkok suffered "multiple tyre bursts" on Tuesday afternoon, an airport official said.
All flight operations were suspended at Bangladesh's principal Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in capital Dhaka for hours due to the mishap.
"Passengers of Thai Airways Flight TG321 had a narrow escape while at least four of its tyres burst while landing on the runway at around 12:20 p.m. local time amid inclement weather," an airport official said who did not like to be named.
