TOKYO, July 26 (Xinhua) -- At least 15 people were injured while some others were possibly trapped after a fire broke out Thursday afternoon at a construction site in the city of Tama, Tokyo Metropolis.
The Tokyo Fire Department said it received an emergency call around 1:50 p.m. local time (0450 GMT) about the fire at a site where a building is under construction in the city of Tama.
Some 60 ambulances and fire trucks were rushed to the site to extinguish the fire.
The fire site was about 1 km from a train station which is surrounded by large commercial facilities.
