-- The Zambian government has dismissed 39 public workers from various ministries for fraud, misappropriation of funds and corruption.
Civil Service Commission Secretary Geoffrey Kamfwa said the officers were dismissed in the second quarter of this year, with 22 of them coming from the Ministry of General Education. (Daily Nation)
