CAIRO, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly issued on Tuesday an order to establish Egypt's first national artificial intelligence (AI) center.
The center will be chaired by the communications and information technology minister and group a number of several ministries and bodies concerned, Egypt's official MENA news agency reported.
The national body will be responsible for outlining the national strategy for AI development and overseeing its implementation in a way that copes up with the international development in this field.
It will also be authorized to cooperate with the related regional and international bodies to select the best AI applications that could help offer safe, sustainable and smart services. Enditem
