Chinese mainland reports 47 newly imported COVID-19 cases

Of the 47 newly imported cases, 19 were reported in Shanghai, five in Beijing and Guangdong respectively.

BEIJING, March 25 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese mainland reported 47 newly imported cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) Tuesday, bringing the total number of imported cases to 474, according to the National Health Commission Wednesday.

Of the 47 newly imported cases, 19 were reported in Shanghai, five in Beijing and Guangdong respectively, four in Tianjin and Fujian respectively, two in Inner Mongolia, Jiangsu and Sichuan respectively, and one in Jilin, Zhejiang, Shandong and Shaanxi respectively, according to the commission.
