KIEV, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) has seized 750 kilograms of the psychotropic drug Captagon worth over 30 million U.S. dollars at a seaport in southern Ukraine, the agency's press service reported on Tuesday.
According to the SBU, the drugs were smuggled into the country's Yuzhne port by two Ukrainian citizens in early September, hidden in a container with candy.
The detained men were planning to send the container to one of the Gulf countries, the SBU said.
An investigation is currently under way to identify all parties involved in the operation. Enditem
