BEIJING, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- Beijing reported seven new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, the municipal health commission said on Wednesday.
Six of the new confirmed cases were reported in Daxing District and one in Shunyi District. The six cases in Daxing were all detected in the Ronghui residential compound.
Related epidemiological investigations are underway.
No new suspected or asymptomatic COVID-19 cases, either locally transmitted or imported, were reported in Beijing on Tuesday, said the commission. ■
