BEIJING, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) -- China Minmetals Corporation (CMC), the country's largest metals and minerals group, recorded its highest-ever revenue in 2020 despite the adverse impact of COVID-19 and violent price swings in metals.
The company raked in 701.6 billion yuan (about 108.27 billion U.S. dollars) in revenue in 2020, up 15 percent year on year, and saw a 36-percent net profit increase from the previous year, according to the company's annual conference.
The mining giant witnessed steady growth from 2015 to 2020. The total assets and annual operating revenue of the company grew by an average of 7 percent and 11 percent annually during the period.
The CMC had overseas operations in more than 60 countries and regions across the world by the end of 2019. Enditem
