GUANGZHOU, April 3 (Xinhua) -- At least 1,500 fans will be allowed to watch the opener of the Chinese Super League (CSL) new season at the Tianhe stadium of Guangzhou, local media reported.
The first match of the 2021 campaign will be held at the Tianhe Stadium in Guangzhou on April 20, the sports program of Guangdong TV reported on Friday.
"At least 1,500 fans will be allowed into the stadium to watch the opener," according to the report.
The CSL has yet to decide on the teams for the season opener.
The first phase of the CSL 2021 season will be held in Guangzhou and Suzhou. The format for the second and the final phase will be decided according to the containing of the COVID-19 pandemic. Enditem
