JERUSALEM, June 7 (Xinhua) -- The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) annual event on digital security for prosperity was opened on Monday, and for the first time it is hosted by Israel.
The three-day event is thus led by the Israel National Cyber Directorate (INCD), with the participation of 60 countries and 40 speakers, the INCD and the OECD said.
The event is held this year online due to coronavirus limitations, under the title "Local challenges, global solutions, building cyber resilience together in a post COVID-19 world."
It aims to explore how to ensure cyber resilience through market mechanisms, discuss how organizations can better prepare for and respond to crises, and look at opportunities to develop a common language in a global market.
Yigal Unna, Director General of the INCD, said that "it is time to upgrade cooperation beyond existing bilateral collaborations between countries and make them multinational. Cyber defense is done as a community." Enditem
