TOKYO, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- Germany took home the men's kayak four 500m gold at the Tokyo Olympics as the canoe sprint competitions concluded here on Saturday.
With a result of one minute and 22.219 seconds, three-time world champion Germany edged Spain by 0.226 seconds to take their first canoe sprint gold in Tokyo.
Winning his second personal gold after one from Athens 2004, 39-year-old Ronald Rauhe became the first man to win a medal in canoe sprint in five Olympic Games.
