BEIJING, April 19 (Xinhua) -- Liu Jianchao, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met with the Mayor of San Francisco, London Breed, on Friday in Beijing.
The two sides exchanged views on implementing the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, strengthening people-to-people exchanges, deepening mutually beneficial cooperation and promoting the sound and steady development of China-U.S. relations. ■
