QINGDAO, July 28 (ChinaMil) -- The Arleigh-burke class guided-missile destroyer USS Stethem (DDG 63) of the U.S. Navy arrived in Qingdao, a port city in east China's Shandong province, on the morning of July 28.
The destroyer carried 365 U.S. seamen to Qingdao. The naval servicepersons of China and the U.S. will visit each other's ships and hold a number of recreational activities. Before leaving Qingdao, the USS Stethem will conduct a fleet communication drill at sea with warships of the PLA Navy, according to resources.
