National Cyber Security Awareness Week
China's first Cyber Security Awareness Week has launched in Beijing. It is designed to expand the knowledge of cyber security and improve skills in network safety.
The importance of cyber security is growing in China. By the end of June, the country had more than 600 million netizens. Additionally, it registered more US$300 billion of e-commerce retail sales in 2013.
According to data from the 2013 China Internet Security Conference, more than 2 billion netizens access the Internet daily, and they are at risk from more than 200 million cyber attacks.
