HANOI, July 20 (Xinhua) -- The Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee's General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong left here on Thursday for a three-day visit to Cambodia, said the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Ministry.
The party chief is visiting Cambodia at the invitation of Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni.
The trip, the second state visit to Cambodia by the party leader, aims to enhance trust between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Cambodian People's Party, and accelerate the implementation of agreements inked by the two countries.
Vietnam and Cambodia exchanged 150 delegations of all levels last year and in the first half of this year.
