YEREVAN, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- Armenia-made wines and brandies will take part in the ProWine China 2017 exhibition to be held in Shanghai, the Development Foundation of Armenia (DFA) said Tuesday.
The foundation is expected to promote Armenian wine and brandy products worldwide under a memorandum signed earlier in the day with the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia, it said on its website.
Fifteen Armenian wine, brandy and alcoholic drinks companies will present their products at the Shanghai show scheduled for Nov. 14-16.
"The Development Foundation of Armenia had a fruitful experience of promoting Armenian products at international exhibitions. Our delegations always return with export orders," said the foundation CEO Armen Avak Avakian.
Previous DFA efforts have enabled Armenian beverages to export to countries including the Netherlands, Belgium, England and Germany.
ProWine China is one of the world's largest international exhibitions on wines and spirits. The event this year is expected to attract some 650 companies from 37 countries as well as more than 12,000 importers, distributors and wholesale buyers.
