South China's Hainan Province is hailed as a "perfect destination" for tourists in a UK newspaper.
The island province, about the size of Belgium and at China’s most southerly point, has become a perfect destination for holidaymakers, wrote a recent report carried by the Daily Mail.
Some of the most opulent hotels can be found on the island’s southern shore, including the Intercontinental, Marriott, Ritz-Carlton and St Regis, the paper said.
And a high-speed rail links Sanya, a beautiful city with long beaches in the south, with the provincial capital, Haikou, the paper added.
The best time to visit Hainan is between November and February, not only the driest part of the year but also the best time for surfing, the report said.
