South China’s Hainan Province has held a tourism promotion event in Madrid, Spain, and it is the last stop of European tourism promotion events.
This promotion is one of the most significant strategies for Hainan to further optimize tourism structure, and it is a great move to improve the exchanges between Hainan and the European countries.
Ten tourism products have been highlighted in the events, including coastal leisure, marine sport, traditional Chinese medical (TCM) therapy, folk culture and island cuisine.
In the future, Hainan would further expand the European market and produce featured products that cater to the preference of Spanish and other European tourists, said Chen Yijian, a travel agency representative.
The first two promotion events were held in Berlin and Paris.
