Trump says enhancing people-to-people exchange with China extremely important

WASHINGTON, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Donald Trump said Thursday that it is extremely important to strengthen people-to-people exchange with China.

Trump made the remarks when meeting with Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong in the White House.

China and the United States held their first social and people-to-people dialogue on Thursday in Washington D.C., which was co-chaired by Liu and U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.
