MANILA, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- At least seven people were killed and four others wounded on Saturday when a passenger van rammed into a roadside tree in the province of Cebu, local authorities said.
Authorities said the car was traveling from the tourist town of Oslob when the accident occurred.
An initial police report showed that the driver fell asleep on the wheels. The driver was reportedly among those who were injured, authorities said.
The injured were brought to a local hospital for treatment.
