THE HAGUE, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- Unilever posted a rise of turnover in 2017, the Anglo-Dutch consumer goods company announced on Thursday.
The company's net profit grew to 6.48 billion euros in 2017, compared to 5.54 billion euros in the previous year, it said.
Unilever has four divisions, Personal Care, Foods, Home Care and Refreshment, and produces brands like Dove personal care, Omo laundry products, Knorr foods, Lipton tea and Magnum ice cream.
The company expended its portfolio in 2017 with, among others, Carver skin care from South Korea as most significant acquisition.
Personal Care had an underlying sales growth in 2017 of 2.9 percent compared to 2016, Home Care 4.4 percent, Foods 1.0 percent, and Refreshment 4.9 percent.
