5.5-magnitude quake hits 138km SE of Modayag, Indonesia -- USGS

HONG KONG, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted 138km SE of Modayag, Indonesia at 00:20:42 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 51.2 km, was initially determined to be at 0.2312 degrees south latitude and 125.2095 degrees east longitude.
