LISBON, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- Portugal's Gulbenkian Foundation is poised to sell Partex, its oil and gas business, for 500 million euros (623.3 million U.S. dollars), the Jornal de Negocios newspaper reported on Friday.
Partex has long-standing concession agreements in Oman and Abu Dhabi. It also operates in Algeria, Angola, Brazil, Kazakhstan and Portugal itself.
The company is fully owned by the Gulbenkian Foundation, founded in 1956 at the bequest of Calouste Gulbenkian, an oil magnate and philanthropist.
