BEIJING, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Beijing police said Saturday they have detained more than 80 suspects in five cases for recruitment fraud.
The suspects allegedly published false information about recruiting actors, private nurses, villa tenders or overseas jobs on some popular domestic job-hunting websites such as 58.com and swindled money from victims.
In one case, police arrested 24 suspects, who took about 210,000 yuan (33,000 U.S. dollars) from 43 victims, according to the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau.
The bureau said investigations into the five cases continue.
