CHANGCHUN, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- Four players scored double digits to help Jilin defeat Sichuan 98-83 to stop a 10-game losing streak in the last round of the 2017-2018 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league regular season on Sunday. Neither team will make it to the playoffs.
Jilin took the lead at 26-21 with multiple attacking lines in the first quarter. However, Ike Diogu performed excellently to help Sichuan take the lead at 42-41 in the second quarter.
In the second half, Jilin stayed ahead again with consecutive scores from Dai Huaibo and Carl Landry. Jilin forced the game into garbage time and secured the last home victory this season.
Carl Landry led Jilin with 23 points and 19 rebounds. Von Waver contributed 14 points and 3 rebounds. Gao Shiyan had 16 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists, while Zhang Biao pocketed 19 points and 4 rebounds.
Ike Diogu scored 18 points and 15 rebounds for Sichuan. Zuo Liannian made 15 points and 6 rebounds. Meng Da contributed 12 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
