TEHRAN, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- An international agriculture exhibition is scheduled to be held in the capital Tehran on Feb. 24-27, Financial Tribune daily reported on Wednesday.
Some 150 Iranian and foreign companies from Turkey, China, Switzerland, India and France are expected to participate in the upcoming event also known as "Iran Agri Show 2018."
Latest products and services related to agricultural tools, machineries, raw materials and irrigation systems will be showcased by the participants in the show.
Iran exported about 4.2 million tons of agricultural products valued 4 billion U.S. dollars during the nine months till Dec. 22, 2017, Deputy Agriculture Minister, Abdolmehdi Bakhshandeh, was quoted as saying.
"The exported agricultural products made up 12.7 percent of Iran's total non-oil exports in terms of value, and 4.74 percent in terms of weight during the nine-month period," said Bakhshandeh.
